Chronic Illness and Disability Ritual Zine

In our culture, there are rituals and celebrations around things like marriages, promotions, babies and birthdays, but there aren’t many specifically about/for disability. My friend Lorraine Boissoneault and I decided to create some. For the last year, we’ve been hosting a seasonal ritual for disabled people centered on both the season and an emotion or two. We are working to put them together in a zine that will be available both digitally and physically.
